Please scroll down to see our adoptable animals!!
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- If you are renting you must have paid any additional pet deposits or fees and be willing to pay any additional pet rent. We do check with the landlord or management to verify.
- We ask that you do at least a two week trial adoption. Meaning that the pet lives with you and your family to give everyone a little bit of time to make sure it's the right fit. If everything goes well after the two weeks, the adoption contract is then signed and the adoption fee is paid. We will always be here for you and your pet even after the adoption has been finalized, however, in the event that the pet needs to be returned, there is no refund for the adoption fee.
- Cats and kittens must be taken home in a secured pet carrier and must be indoor only.
- We do not adopt out dogs to be used as guard dogs or "yard" dogs.
- We do not release any animals to research facilities.
- We do not adopt out animals as gifts.
- All current pets must be spayed or neutered and up to date on veterinary care.
- A vet reference, vet check and/or a home visit may be required.
We like to take the pressure out of adopting by doing a Foster to Adoption (trial adoption). Since it is our goal to make sure every pet we place goes into a home best suited for its needs and the adopter gets the pet that best fits their lifestyle, we need to know a little bit about you. The information on the application helps us get to know you and understand your home environment, whether there are other pets in the home, children, etc. These are important factors to see how to best match one of our pets to your individual situation.
The application also provides us with a history of your pets. Do you have a fenced yard? Are your pet's spayed/neutered? Are they a member of your family, a companion, or kept in the yard? These are all important details that help us understand more about you and what kind of pet guardian you would be for one of our adoptable animals. We want to make sure it is a "win-win" situation for both the adopter and the pet! If you see a dog our cat below that you are interested in, please fill out the application and someone will contact you within 48 hours.

She is wonderful with all dogs and children and loves to play and snuggle.

Chippy, 8(ish) years old
Chippy is a snuggle buddy mixed with a high energy chi/terrier mix who weighs about 15 lbs. Chippy was living happily with one of our veterans, taking long walks and having amazing cuddle time, but the situation changed and the veteran was no longer able to care for the pup.
This cutie pie is neutered, UTD on vaccines, micro-chipped and he does well with dogs of all sizes. He does display behavior that says he is a bit stressed when in high energy environments. The combo of being the only dog with his veteran and his world being upside down has left Chippy feeling insecure and unsure of what is happening in his world. He tends to seek cover if he feels insecure. Under a bed or a couch makes him feel protected. He comes out quickly when given some reassurance and understanding. He gets very scared being in a vehicle. He walks fine on leash after his initial burst of excitement to go on a walk. He is good with basic commands and will dance with a treat as reward.
Chippy is not a barker per say but if others are barking, he is happy to out bark them :)
He is fine with cats though he does not want to live with tortoises.
Chippy really just needs stability in his life again. He would be great as companion with an older or more mellow person. He will be getting a dental cleaning at some point and is otherwise in good health. Please email email@example.com to meet this handsome man. He is looking for a furever home or a foster home.
Millie, 2 years old
Millie is a darling 2yr old Pointer/bully blend ( guessing of course) who weighs around 45lbs. Millie was pulled from the Henderson Animal Shelter and has been staying at the adoption center for a few weeks now. A nice big comfy kennel that would be fine for most pups, isn't for Millie. She doesn't want to be left behind anymore so up and over she goes. Our only other option for her is an empire crate to keep her safe.
She is spayed, micro-chipped, UTD on vaccines and really in need of a forever family or a foster home so she can get more love and attention.
Millie has some challenges hanging out with other dogs off leash. She needs a slow and responsible introduction. She is extremely loving, only wants to be a lap dog and snuggle, and walks great on a leash so really enjoys outdoor adventures. We are working on her excitement in the car when she sees people walking and skate boards and bicycles make her want to take chase. No cats for Millie!!
Jack Henry, 1 year old
Meet Jack Henry, a sweet and playful 1 year old chi mix who is ready for his soul mate. J.H. will sit for treats and walks well on a leash with a harness. He is good with other pups and cats and humans of all sizes. J.H. is a true people lover. He is about 80% of the way potty trained and argues that every one has an accident every once in awhile. He is super energetic and eager to please.
Jack Henry is neutered, UTD on shots, micro-chipped and he only barks when provoked by others... or to alert you to someone at the front door. He is good on car rides and loves to play the license plate game.
Jack Henry prefers to eat alone due to food aggression, though he appreciates being told if he's got anything stuck in his teeth after he eats. He loves toys, especially chew toys and is eager to find that perfect family. If you are interested in this cutie, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Cooki, 5 years old
Cooki is a beautiful 5 year old pup who is as sweet as can be. She needs a little bit of time to trust her humans and once she warms up... the love is unimaginable. She is super mellow and is comfortable relaxing in a crate. She loves her walks and is rather proud of her leash skills. Cooki is happy to have other dog friends, but she prefers to eat in private so she can savor every last bite, uninterrupted.
Cooki is spayed, micro-chipped, UTD on her vaccines, and ready to give you kisses.
If you are interested in meeting this sweet kiddo, email email@example.com for more information.
Sasha, 4 years old
My name is Sasha. I am 4-5 years old and I am absolutely beautiful ( if I do say so myself.)
I hope you don't judge me when I tell you I MUST be the only pet in the home. I love people, of all ages, but I didn't get to learn how to enjoy fur friends. My foster mom isn't convinced that I cannot have canine friends. However, I will really need to be worked with to build confidence and trust with other pets. So, I will only be adopted out as the only pet in the home.
I am one of the most loving and loyal girls ever. I crave affection and to be close to my human friends. I also love to play with toys. Doesn't matter what kind of toy, they are all cool to me. I'm learning and am doing great with my basic command and leash walking skills. I really need a forever home where I can just be a couch potato and have a secured area and be accepted for who I am.
I am spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped.
If you would like to meet me, please call or text my foster mom, Melissa. 702-301-8926.
Antonella, 5 years old
Meet Princess Antonella, a 5 year old chi with the heart of royalty. This little sweetie is very shy at first but once she warms up... all bets are off!
Antonella is looking for a family of adult humans. She is willing to share her space with another small dog, but is not interested in living with big dogs or cats. She is spayed, UTD on her vaccines, micro-chipped, and ready to meet those special people who will be patient with her and spoil her tail off!
If you are interested in meeting Antonella, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and be prepared to meet the love of your life.
Rocco, 7 Years old
Every so often you come across a pup who has the power to put his furry friends at ease. Rocco provides comfort and encouragement to his human foster family, and brings his fellow foster brothers out of their shells. He kisses them, plays with them, and must tell them in doggie speak that everything is gonna be alright. His calm energy gives them the confidence they need to shine.
Rocco is a 7 year old chi who is independent yet still secure enough in his own fur to be vulnerable with his humans. He isn't a fan of cats but would love to share his new home with some other small dogs (maybe even his foster brother Bruno!!!) and possibly some kids.
He is neutered, UTD on his vaccines, micro-chipped, and ready to play. He loves toys and while he won't go after your furniture, you may want to keep your shoes in the closet. Email email@example.com if you would like to meet this pint sized personality.
Griffin, 3.5 years old
Griffin was known as Vanu at the Henderson Animal Shelter. He was the dog who had waited the longest time to be saved when his hero, our friend and foster mom, came swooping in. Ready to open her heart and home to this boy, we were able to save him. Griffin now lives a great life with his foster mom and 2 "little" canine siblings. As you can see, Griffin has become a big play toy for his canine foster brother. Griffin gets along great with dogs. He loves the littles and with, proper, meet n greets, he enjoys hanging out with big dogs too. Griffin has been a perfect house guest in his foster home. He knows the yard is where his "business" is to be done. He is crate trained and does not show any destructive tendencies. Of course, he loves to have a choice of toys to play with. He runs around, so proudly, showing off the toys he thinks are cool. He is great with his basic commands and is receptive to learning new things. What we are trying to say is....this boy is a gem! Griffin is neutered, current on vaccines/rabies and microchipped. His adoption fee is only $105! If you would like to learn more about Griffin or to express interest in meeting him, please call/text 702-301-8926 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bonnie Bessie 4.5 years old
Bonnie Bessie is a 4.5 yr old Bully Blend. She has an amazing story of recovery that has taken 6 months and now she is ready for an adoption. Watch a snapshot of her journey here. https://youtu.be/utmNn36JI9k She is looking for a loving home where she can be the only pet. Although she'd rather not share her home space with another fur sibling, she had good manners on a leash near other pets. She has been training to accept their presence and has done extremely well. Bonnie would enjoy a home where she can relax much of the time, but she LOVES to go for car rides and take medium sized walks. She enjoys the company of mature and gentle children. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Bonnie Bessie, please email email@example.com to begin the process.
